One of my responsibilities during my radio jock years was to help the sales and marketing team in getting ads for the station. (at need ng pera ng show!) I was even appointed sales manager of one FM station while doing my regular show.(ganda lang ang puhunan!) My radio stint also trained me how to endorse brands on air correctly.(kahit nga feminine wash, na-endorse ko!) This experience taught me the sales strategies I practice in my current media companies. (hello, sponsors!)

I haven’t tried direct selling in front of the camera. I remember enjoying late-night television shows that featured the sale of a wide variety of products. (kaldero, plants at mga panlinis ng inidoro!) But now, TV shopping is out because online buying is the way to go. Sellers are all over social media platforms. (naglipana is the term!)

Friends and colleagues have been encouraging me to try selling online. (baka kasi magaling akong mang-uto!) I still endorse some loyal brands (pero pwede magdagdag ha!) and I sell my artworks, the Art of FU (thank you sa mga sumusuporta!)  but I never had the chance to do a regular live selling. (di ako aarte pag meron!)

I suddenly got an inquiry asking if I could do live selling. (basta may bayad, go ako!) And what products I prefer.  ( naku kahit sarili ko!)  I quickly said yes, as long as they are not illegal goods! ( kaluluwa keri?!) With my reply, I immediately got a meeting schedule with Tiktok Philippines.  As a possible regular live seller in their studio, I found it an exploratory talk. (kahit tilapia pa ang ibebenta go ako!)

As my initial try, I made videos of some products that I usually purchase and are available at TikTok Shop (yung with matching yellow basket!) I just did my usual spiel (yung iba kasi tumbling levels na!) while enjoying this new venture (kaya mag-avail kayo sa @mrfu_mayganon).
