CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Police seized marijuana worth P20.7 million and arrested six suspected drug pushers in the Cordillera region from Nov. 11 to 17.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera recovered 98,985 fully grown marijuana plants, 775 marijuana seedlings, seven kilos of dried marijuana leaves and stems with fruiting tops, and 18.05 grams of suspected shabu with a combined value of P20,790,740.
Marijuana plants worth P9 million was discovered in Mountain Province and illegal drugs valued at P8.1 million were recovered and a drug pusher considered a street-level individual was apprehended in Benguet.
The Kalinga police found marijuana plants valued at P3.5 million and nabbed two high-value individuals and the Baguio City Police Office confiscated suspected shabu worth P118,660 and captured two street-level drug pushers.
The PRO-Cordillera said these achievements underscore their dedication to fighting illegal drugs and promoting peace and order throughout the region.
