TALISAY, Batangas – First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos and a digital entertainment company have joined hands to help victims of typhoon “Kristine” here.
FIRST Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos turns over a check for P37 million for families of typhoon ‘Kristine’ victims in Talisay, Batangas on Nov. 10.
On Sunday, Nov. 10, the First Lady and businessman Eusebio Tanco of the BingoPlus Foundation distributed relief packs, medicines, and cash aid to residents.
Tanco also turned over P250,000 cash assistance to the families of landslide victims in this town.
The turnover was witnessed by Gov. Hermilando Mandanas, Vice Gov. Mark Liveste, Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian, Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez, and other officials delivering aid to residents.
Mandanas thanked the national government and the private organization for the assistance that would enable the families of the fatalities to rebuild their lives.
BingoPlus Foundation is the social development arm of DigiPlus, an online gaming entertainment in the country.
According to BingoPlus Foundation, they have allocated at least P100 million to help calamity victims. The foundation added that they also advocate free education, free livelihood, and free medical care for Filipinos.
