CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police arrested a 55-year-old poultry helper in Lobo, Batangas on All Saints’ Day for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl multiple times.
The Police Regional Office 4-A identified the suspect as Leo of San Juan, Batangas. He was the fifth most wanted person on the regional level in the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon area.
Leo was arrested on a warrant for 17 counts of rape issued by Judge Rose Marie J. Manalang-Austria, executive judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 87, Rosario, Batangas, dated Aug. 23, 2024.
No bail was recommended by the court due to the gravity of the charges.
PRO 4-A chief Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth T. Lucas cited the arrest of the suspect.
“This operation reflects our commitment to ensuring that individuals charged with grave offenses are held accountable for their actions.”
Lucas urged the people to remain vigilant and support efforts to apprehend wanted individuals by reporting them to the police.
