Antipolo LGU starts Christmas food packs distribution

The local government of Antipolo City has started bringing Christmas joys to its residents through the foodpacks that are now being distributed to its communities.

Mayor Casimiro ‘Junjun’ Ynares, III said the city government has kicked off the giving of Christmas Food Packs to the residents on a per schedule basis in order to reach the give-aways to the residents in time for the Holidays.

This year’s Christmas goodies which come in one recyclable megabox are composed of the following grocery items:

  • two cans of corned beef (150 grams each) 
  • two cans of meat loaf (150 grams each)
  • two cans of beef loaf (150 grams each)
  • a pack of spaghetti noodles (700 grams)
  • spaghetti sauce (900 grams)
  •  a can of tuna caldereta (175 grams)
  • three packs of cheese spread
  • a pack of coffee (50 grams)
  • a pack of chips (55 grams)
  • a pack of vegetarian crackers 
  • a pack of corn chips (100 grams)
  • a pack of soda crackers (10 pieces at 33 grams each)
  • a pack of sandwich cookies (80 grams)
  • a pack of ½ kilo of washed sugar

The city government has allocated enough Christmas Food Packs, which come with a Christmas Card, in time for Christmas Eve tradition, 'Noche Buena' where families gather together for the midnight dinner.
