Disney+ will premiere the supernatural mystery Korean drama “Light Shop Keeper” starring Ju Ji-hoon and Park Bo-young in December.
In the drama, six strangers who are stuck in a mysterious neighborhood with no memory of how they got there need to piece together their forgotten past to escape.
The eight-episode drama from Kangfull, who created “Moving,” will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Dec. 4.

“Light Shop Keeper” stars actor Ju Ji-hoon (“Blood Free,” “Kingdom,” “The Spy Gone North”) as Jung Wonyoung, the owner of the light shop; actress Park Bo-young, (“Strong Girl Bong-soon,” “Oh My Ghost”) as a nurse whose life was changed forever following a near-death experience; actor Bae Seong-woo (“Veteran,” “The King”) as a detective; actress Lee Jungeun (“Parasite”) as a distraught mother; K-pop idol and actress Kim Seol-hyun; and Kim Minha (“Pachinko” as screenwriter Sunhae.

The series is adapted for the screen by Kangfull and is directed by actor and director Kim Hee-won.
An adaptation of Kangfull’s hit webtoon of the same name, “Light Shop Keeper” follows six strangers, each grappling with a traumatic event from their past. As they go about their daily lives, they slowly come to realize that something is very wrong—they just can’t figure out what.
Desperate for answers and searching for a way back to normalcy, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious light shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present and future. Full of mystery and intrigue, “Light Shop Keeper” promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart-wrenching premise.
“Light Shop Keeper” is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Kangfull’s acclaimed series “Moving.”
Released in 2023, “Moving” went on to become the most viewed international original series on Disney+* and has been enjoyed by countless fans across the world.
