It added, “Discharge day is a day shared by many service members. No special events are planned on the day of j-hope’s discharge. To prevent any issues arising from overcrowding, fans are strongly advised to refrain from visiting the site. Please convey your warm regards and encouragement in your hearts.”

“We are always grateful for your unwavering love and support for j-hope. Our company will continue to put our utmost effort into supporting our artists. Thank you once again for your continued love and support for BTS,” Big Hit Music said.

J-Hope enlisted in the military on April 18 last year and is currently serving as an assistant instructor at the 36th Infantry Division new recruit training center in Wonju, Gangwon Province.

Ahead of his discharge from the Korean Army, fans of J-Hope created a bench garden at Seoul Forest.

The Instagram account Flowerway Hope posted photos of the garden called “J-Hope Forest 2,” created between the central pond and water playground in Seoul Forest.

The garden features wooden benches with J-Hope’s name and plants planted in the boxes and on the ground around the benches.
