Valenzuela LGU extends business permit renewal deadline


The local government of Valenzuela City has extended the deadline for manual and online business permit renewals of businesses in the city.

According to the City's public information office (PIO), business permit renewals will be extended until Feb. 3, from its original date of Jan. 20.

The city government urged businessmen and entrepreneurs to utilize the user-friendly Paspas Permit Online service, underscoring the convenience and safety of online transactions.

Meanwhile, those without online payment options were advised to visit the nearest Business One-Stop Shops (BOSS) to process their business permit renewals.

The BOSS will operate across the city from Jan. 22 to 26, Jan. 29 to 31, and Feb. 1 to 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The city government said that on Jan. 27 and Feb. 3 (Saturdays), its electronic BOSS will operate from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The e-BOSS desks are located at  the ALERT Center-Multipurpose Center Hall in Barangay Malinta, 3S Centers in Ugong, Punturin, Karuhatan, Gen. T. De Leon, Marulas, and Canumay West.

The local government encouraged taxpayers to follow the payment deadlines to prevent incurring a 25 percent surcharge and a 2 percent interest on fees.

Businesses were urged to renew their permits online for a more streamlined and efficient process.
