Pledge of commitment for economic dev’t signed at Batangas business confab


MALVAR, Batangas – A pledge of commitment for economic development and investment promotion in the province of Batangas was signed during the 2024 Batangas Business Conference on Friday, September 20, at Holiday Inn Suites Lima Park in this town.

The signing was led by Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas, together with Aboitiz InfraCapital-Lima Estate Vice President Clifford Academia, Trade and Industry Undersecretary and Bio Managing head Dr. Ceferino Rodolfo, Philippine Economic Zone Authority Director General Tereso Panga, Provincial Administrator Wilfredo Racelis, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Lipa President May Andrea Katigbak, Public-Private Partnership Center Executive Director Maria Cynthia Hernandez, and Provincial Planning and Development Office-in-Charge Marisa Mendoza.

Also present during the conference were Vice Gov. Joe Antonio Leviste, Malvar Mayor Cristeta Reyes, Ibaan Mayor Edralyn Salvame, Lipa City Mayor Eric Africa, Public-Private Partnership Director Feroisa Concordia, Batangas Zone PEZA Manager Jose Manas, Board of Investments Division chief Lubin de Vera Jr., Anti-Red Tape Authority regional head Karl Joseph Sanmocte, Bauan municipal administrator Ava Beatrice Talag, Calaca City LEDIPO May Ontangco, and Santo Tomas City Planning and Development OIC Leendel Jane Punzalan.

The event was organized by the PCCI-Lipa City in partnership with Aboitiz Infra Capital Inc. and the provincial government of Batangas.

Almost 200 individuals from the public and private sectors graced the business conference.

The pledge of commitment aims to promote and facilitate investment and investor servicing following the presentation of the provincial development physical framework plan.
