“One month, exactly 30 days! Time used to be so frustrating, but now I've developed feelings for it and I'm starting to miss it."

J-Hope said he gave his favorite items to other soldiers.

"I've organized my stuff and given away my favorite items to my successors, and seeing the lightened locker makes me feel even more sentimental,” he said.

He added, “Looking back, it wasn't a big deal, but why was I so tense and stiff back then (Those days when even the sound of the locker opening stimulated my nerves). When I see the new recruits, I feel a sense of empathy and I see myself and they seem adorable.”

J-Hope enlisted on April 18, 2023 and will be discharged on Oct. 17 or after serving as an active duty soldier for 18 months.

He will be the second member of BTS to complete military service after Jin who was discharged last June 12.

"I'm looking back on my military life in an extreme F [emotional type of personality test] state, and I feel proud and confident. I am now the epitome of a sergeant at the end of his service, lying in bed and writing," he said.

J-Hope added, “What a great holiday! To be able to rest well! This has become long but I wanted to come here to say hello to you for Chuseok.”

“But coincidentally, today is exactly 30 days left. I'll see you next month, on this day. Until that day, please take care of your health..!” he said.

Jungkook commented on his post, telling him, “You did a great job, J-Hope.”

J-Hope is serving as an assistant instructor at the new recruit training unit of the 36th Infantry Division.
