LUCENA CITY, Quezon – A 28-year-old woman was allegedly killed and chopped to pieces by her live-in partner in Barangay 5 here on June 30.
The victim was identified as Ronalyn Alvarez.
Police was interviewing the victim’s live-in partner, Ryan Porga, 29, construction worker, on Monday, July 22, regarding the circumstances behind her disappearance when he turned emotional.

Porga broke down and said that he stabbed Alvarez in the chest to death with an icepick during a heated argument in their shanty on June 30.
He said that he chopped Alvarez’s body afterwards with a jungle bolo into three pieces – the head, body, and legs.
Porga stashed her dismembered body parts in three sacks and buried them underneath their shanty.
The suspect added that he and Alvarez killed a certain Analyn Orjejada in March 2023 and they hid her body in a plastic drum and buried it on the floor of their shanty.
Porga, accompanied by police and barangay officials, pinpointed where Alvarez and Orjejada were buried.
Their bodies were exhumed by police forensics probers.
Porga is in the custody of the police and faces appropriate cases.
