Deputy Majority Leader ACT-CIS Party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo will be the first to tell you that he's still a work in progress when it comes to his job as a member of the House of Representatives.

In a recent Facebook post, the broadcast journalist-turned-lawmaker wrote: "Marami pa akong dapat matutunan (I still have a lot to learn)."

This, despite Tulfo's participation in two recent high-profile hearings at the House of Representatives last week.

There hearings were conducted by the Committee on Public Order and Safety and Committee on Energy.

They were about the extortion case involving Southern Police District (SPD) operatives and the ongoing power crisis in Palawan, respectively.

"Continue to guide me Lord by your wisdom that I may do the work that is according to Your will, and that will benefit my fellow men…Amen," the deputy majority leader for communications further wrote in his post.

Tulfo formally assumed his position as congressman only last July 2023. Before that, he was the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary.
