LOOK: This adorable little boy got Luka Doncic's FIBA trophy

And he's the grandson of celebrity Leo Martinez

After the thrilling 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup championship game between Slovenia and Italy in Manila, famous international basketball player Luka Doncic created a special and unforgettable memory for a Filipino family to treasure forever.

The Slovenian professional and Dallas Mavericks player gifted the TCL Player of the Game trophy to Leo Martinez's grandson, who was named as a tribute to the basketball player.

This remarkable news was posted on Instagram on Sept. 10, by Prince Rivero, a former PBA player, and his wife Lesley Martinez.

The couple mentioned that as avid supporters of Doncic, they proudly attended all three of his games representing Slovenia in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Throughout these matches, they brought a large banner that expressed their admiration, stating, "LUKA, we named our son after you."

For the last game, they brought their adorable Baby Luka along, holding a modified version of their banner that read, "LUKA, I was named after you." 

Luka's supporters from both the NBA and FIBA World Cup lauded his acts of kindness towards his fans.
