CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Col. Amado Mendoza Jr. has been appointed as new chief of the Angeles City police.
Mendoza replaced Police Lt. Col. Deonido Maniago Jr. who served as officer-in-charge for three months.
The turnover ceremony was held in Camp Lt. Tomas Pepito in Angeles City on Tuesday.
It was led by Police Regional Office-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr.
Mendoza is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Kapanalig Class of 1997.
He was formerly the chief of the PRO-3 Regional Logistics and Research Development Division.
On the other hand, Maniago will head the PRO-3 Regional Intelligence Division.
