And on it goes as Sarah G piles on the new tunes. After a recent collab with John Roa, this time she pairs up with R&B singer-songwriter-guitarist Jin Chan for the moody R&B track “Hangganan.” Geronimo takes turns with the verses with her “Dati Dati” songwriter for this slow-to-mid-tempo affair about a love that’s going cold. The singing is hot not to mention grooving on this co-written tune by Jin Chan, DENY, and Sarah Geronimo.

Hit R&B singing ace Arthur Nery recently dropped the piano-decked ballad "Nasa'king Damdamin" -- a lofi-tinged love song in which Arthur’s R&B influenced singing is on the flex. Arthur sings of a love that seems destined for heartache, but his delivery an emotional uplift. Check out his style wherein he holds those prolonged notes with the intent of loading every line that he sings with style and sentiment.
Young music acts Soy and Jehramae Trangia pair up for the sickly-sweet sounding “Paraiso.” The former is a songwriter who just thought up this song that’s a Bazooka-Joe short of bubble gum pop and the latter is a winning ‘kontesera.’ Jehramae keeps it simple, sweet and within context in this rather lovely sounding and upbeat pop song.

Viral hit rap artist Juan Caoile of “Marikit” fame returns with a brand-new song titled “Silong.” The title is the metaphor used by Juan Caoile of how he sees the big Guy topside. Caoile’s display of faith and gratitude is straightforward but his smooth delivery is the wax that puts slick in this track. Juan Caoile tries to inspire through finding love and faith, but taken on its own, “Silong” is a relatable piece of pop, rap and R&B flavors.
Kushin (Richard Olamit), King Lheanard and J emm Dahon of HOOD 047 “Wasted” notoriety returns with classic a 3-man rap jam on grooving “ASINTA.” Booming trap beats, lyrical lines that sing as much as it raps about uplifting themes of rising against the odds is at the heart of this banging new number from the boys that’s bringing the Olangapo rap scene on the map. And for that last bit, Kushin, KL and J emm are defo on target.
ALLMO$T rapper Crakky steps into the spotlight with groove and pop on “Eto Miss Ka.” Kicking off with classic 808 beats, Crakky brings Pinoy rap to butt heads with retro Hiphop. The result is a funky head-bobbing song about missing and wanting to see her main squeeze.
Tu$ Brother$ are calling out social media twits, hype fools and rapping about ‘drugs and violence with unflinching honesty’ on the solid standing beats of “Can’t See Me.” When you know wrestling you know, but it's also a metaphor “for those who operate in the shadows and go unseen by authorities.” The underlying context, coupled with the reverberating bass kicks, lends a menacing air to the sonic ‘pot’ session. But the delivery? Tu$ Brother$ makes it look and sound like a club party I’d like to be.
