Farmer kills man in debut party in Batangas

CALACA CITY, Batangas â€“ A 40-year-old farmer allegedly stabbed a 21-year-old to death during a debut party on Sunday afternoon, May 7, in Barangay Cahil, here. Police identified the victim as Carlo Caag, single. Investigation said the victim was standing on the terrace of the debutante's house when the suspect, Efren de Roxas, appeared from behind and suddenly stabbed him with a kitchen knife in the abdomen. De Roxas fled on foot while Caag was taken to the Ospital ng Calaca where he was declared dead. Police are conducting a manhunt against the suspect.
