Cops net over P500,000 shabu in Malabon, Valenzuela buy-busts

Members of the Valenzuela City Police Stations (VCPS) and the Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) seized more than P500,000 worth of shabu and nabbed four suspects in two buy-bust operations held in the cities of Malabon and Valenzuela on Tuesday, May 23. Col. Amante Daro, MCPS chief, identified the three suspects as Amado Amano, 53; Blesilda Dela Cruz, 50, both from Barngay Longos, Malabon City; and Jinky Dela Cruz, 46, of Dagat-dagatan, Caloocan City.  They were arrested by MCPS- Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) personnel at the corner of Block 46 and Pampano Street in Barangay Longos at 12 midnight on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the VCPS-SDEU also collared Eric Villegas,42, of Balangkas, Valenzuela City, after he yielded P102,000 worth of shabu also on Tuesday.
The entrapment operation against the suspect was carried out by the operatives along Cadena De Amor Street in Balangkas at around 12: 10 a.m. Villegas  also surrendered a black coin purse and the buy-bust money during the operation. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9156 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against the suspects, police said.
