The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Oct. 27 announced that 842 test takers, or 33 percent, out of 2,524 examinees, had passed the October 2023 licensure examination for electronics engineers.

The test was held from Oct. 22 to 23.
With a score of 89.80 percent, Bulacan State University-Malolos student Angelo Cabalu Jacobo took first place in the board exam results.
With a score of 87.30 percent, June Lorenz Escobal Capin of Mapua University-Manila took second place, and Joshua Ramirez Maniti of Tarlac State University (Tarlac College of Technology) came in third with a score of 87.20 percent.

The board exam took place in Metro Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
It was facilitated by the Board of Electronics Engineering, headed by its chairman, Alnar L. Detalla and members, Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Herminio J. Orbe.
