The Taguig City government and St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City signed a memorandum of agreement to provide additional medical assistance to residents.
Under the multi-year agreement signed by Mayor Lani Cayetano and SLMC president and CEO Dennis Serrano, individuals in crisis situations will be provided medical assistance based on the assessment of social workers and the Taguig City Health Office (CHO).

Qualified beneficiaries endorsed by the CHO will be able to avail of various hospital services for medical and surgical cases.
Patients admitted in other hospitals where primary care has been already rendered may also qualify for the program.
St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City will also partner with the city government to identify residency training programs for Taguigueño doctors at partner institutions.
"I think what really brings us together is the commitment to serve... Maraming salamat at kami'y pinaunlakan ninyo na maging katuwang ninyo dito sa proyekto at endeavor na 'to (Thank you for accommodating us to be your partner in this project and endeavor). I hope that it's something that we nurture, that we strengthen, and that we always forge to commit in the service of the people," said Serrano.
Cayetano said, “We are pleased with this partnership with St. Luke’s Medical Center-Global City. We look forward to helping more Taguigueños.”
“By working together, we can leverage the strength of both sectors to provide comprehensive healthcare services that are affordable, accessible, and of the highest quality for the benefit of our constituents. This will ensure that every resident in our community can access healthcare services that are tailored to their specific needs,” she said.
