Rediscover the versatility of coffee with Nespresso Vertuo

Coffee is pretty straightforward, for the most part—from breakfast to dessert, it’s right around the corner or up on a shelf in some form. Nespresso’s latest offer takes this availability a step further with the versatile Vertuo machine, allowing you to become your own barista at the comfort of your own home. Shake up your morning coffee with a Reverso. You’ll need:  \- 50 ml of cold skim milk \(oat milk is a great swap\) \- 1 Nespresso Vertuo Bianca Forte pod \- Your favorite mug \(should hold at least 300 ml\) Rather than adding your milk to your coffee, putting in fresh-from-the-fridge milk in your cup first allows the hot coffee to bring it up to a comfortable drinking temperature without disrupting either liquid’s best texture. If you wish to have this iced, place ice cubes after the milk and before hitting the Vertuo’s one-touch system.  To really make the most of the machine, you can achieve that fun, café-quality milk froth with an accessory. For example, with an Iced Latte, you could use: \- The Aeroccino 3 or Aeroccino 4 Refresh \- ½ cup of cold milk \- Any Nespresso Vertuo pod \(Double Espresso Dolce is a good place to start\) \- A few ice cubes \- Your favorite glass or to\-go cup Pile up the ice in your chosen vessel with 50 ml (or about ¼ cup) of cold milk. Pour the rest in your Aeroccino up to the minimum line. Prepare your glass and your chosen Vertuo capsule, then hit the button. While your coffee is brewing, you can then set your Aeroccino to create a cold froth. The two elements should be ready around the same time—you can scoop your froth in with a spoon, or show off your home barista skills with a direct pour. Kick your after-dinner treat up a notch with a Macchiato. You’ll need the following: \- The Aeroccino 3 or Aeroccino 4 Refresh \- 80 ml of full cream milk \- 1 Nespresso Vertuo Gran Lungo\-size pod \(Fortado or Fortado Decaffeinato are recommended\) \- Your favorite mug \(should hold at least 230 ml\, or 1 US\-standard cup\) Perhaps one of the most straightforward of coffee terms, macchiato simply means “with a touch of milk”—so froth up your milk on the macchiato setting on your Aeroccino. Dollop your milk foam into your mug of choice before placing it under the coffee outlet. Pop your capsule in the machine, press the button, and in less than a minute, you’ll be enjoying a low-effort, high-impact classic. This drink is perfect for a warm evening solo, but you can just as easily make a few for some guests.
