Grammy-nominated K-pop group BTS member Jimin has achieved a successful release of his first solo album “Face” including one million copies in sales.
According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Face” sold 1,021,532 copies on the first day of release on March 24 to achieve the title “million seller” and place first on the physical album chart.

The total has a physical record index equivalent of 1,165,613, which incorporates the album price and is used by Hanteo Chart to rank albums.
In addition, according to Big Hit Music, BTS’ agency, the main track “Like Crazy” topped iTunes’ Top Songs chart in 111 countries and regions including the US, UK, Philippines, Australia, Canada and Vietnam.
“Face” also ranked No. 1 on iTunes’ Top Albums chart in 63 countries and regions including Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and New Zealand.
The music video for “Like Crazy” has garnered 10.8 million views on YouTube as of this writing or about 21 hours after its release on March 24.
Jimin was a guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” wherein he discussed his first solo album.
