Cascadeo, Amazon team up for fintech solutions

Globe Group's cloud solutions provider Cascadeo has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to harness AWS' wide-ranging cloud platform to offer enhanced financial technology services to customers.

The collaboration was forged as part of Globe’s ventures into generative artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technology.

The two entities pooled their respective experts namely JV Roig from Cascadeo, and Deborshi Choudhury, Josh DeMuth, and Rishi Singla from AWS to conduct a joint research report on the provision of varying options for customers using a data-driven perspective.

Featured on the AWS Partner Network Blog, it showcases a "comprehensive analysis of performance and cost between AWS Lambda Arm-based and x86 architectures," according to Globe.

“From that experiment, we found that switching to Arm-based Lambdas can have significant benefits in terms of performance or cost—and a lot of times, even on both! We share interesting findings that can help you gauge the benefits of a potential migration to Arm-based Lambdas, given your very different workloads,” said the research team.

AWS is described as an “event-driven, serverless cloud computing platform” that can aid enterprises in operating seamless and efficient applications and services.

Serverless solutions can reduce the costs that would otherwise be spent for managing numerous servers, and increase savings of companies.

“We are excited to share our insights on the AWS Partner Network Blog," said Jared Reimer, Chief Technology Officer and Founder of Cascadeo.

"Our collaboration with AWS showcases our dedication to helping businesses evolve with cloud technology, making significant savings on cost without compromising on performance,” he added.
