The Parañaque City government distributed ambulances and service vehicles to seven barangays in the city to augment their equipment and emergency response capacities.

Mayor Eric Olivarez was joined by his brother, Representative Edwin Olivarez, in the turnover ceremony held on Monday, Sept. 4.
The event was also graced by Department of Health (DOH) Assistant Regional Director Pretchell Tolentino.
The Olivarez brothers turned over the ambulance and service vehicles to District I Barangays Baclaran under Barangay chairman Jun Zaide, San Dionisio under Mayor Kap Dr. Pablo Olivarez, Tambo under Jenn Quizon, and Vitalez under Alexander Alvarez.
The barangays under District II that received the vehicles were Barangays San de Poress under Brgy. Chairman Atty. Michael Thor Singson; Marcelo Green under Christopher Aguilar; and Sun Valley under Chaqui Cortez.
The mayor said the distribution was part of the city government’s initiatives to help barangays in the city procure their own vehicles for emergency response.
