Star-studded Chinese New Year in QC features Arjo, Enchong, Gian, Katrina, and Mayor Joy

Celebrating Chinese New Year every year for the past several years has brought good luck to Quezon City, says Mayor Joy Belmonte as she enumerated the many blessings, most of them financial, received by the city under her administration.

This year, the celebration of Chinese New Year of the Rabbit will be held the whole day on Sunday, Jan. 22, along Banawe Street and environs.

Rep. Arjo Atayde

It will be led by Mayor Joy, Rep. Arjo Atayde, Vice-Mayor Gian Sotto with performances by Enchong Dee, Katrina Velarde, Gian Magdangal.

What to expect? Diverse food stalls, souvenir shops, fireworks, Lion dance, cultural shows, Wushu martial arts exhibition, predictions by Feng Shui Master Rev. Fr. Wong Seng Tian.
