Dine at Diamond Hotel Philippines’ Corniche Lunch or Dinner Buffet and savor Chinese New Year favorites and other sumptuous dishes for P3,500 net per person until Jan. 22. Marco Polo Ortigas Manila
Marco Polo Ortigas Manila is currently offering the traditional nian gao, more commonly known as tikoy, until Jan. 22, 2023. The delicious rice cake comes in four variants: Double Gold Bar Nian Gao (P2,598), Double Flavored-Red Dates Sugar and Fortune Orange (P2,598), Red Dates Sugar Round Tikoy (P1,898), and Fortune Orange Round Tikoy (P 1,898).
It will also be hosting a 2023 forecast reading with no less than Feng Shui master Joseph Chau. The highly anticipated activity will take place on Jan, 20, at the award-winning, authentic Cantonese Lung Hin restaurant.
Until Jan. 23, Lung Hin will be pulling out all the stops with a Lucky Rabbit Chinese New Year Set Menu. Its 10-course menu is priced at P52,888 for 10 people and P26,888 for five people Rounding up the festivities will be Chau’s traditional ceremony and blessing on the ground floor of the hotel on Jan. 22 at 10 a.m., followed by a grand lion and dragon dance performance at Lung Hin.

Araneta City welcomes the Year of the Rabbit with the theme “Leap into the Lucky Year. Everyone is invited to its Chinese New Year festivities, which include Lion and Dragon dances on Jan.21 in Ali Mall (10 a.m.), Cyberpark Towers 1 and 2 (12:30 p.m.), Manhattan Towers (1:30 p.m.), and Farmers Plaza (2:30 p.m.).
Its celebration continues on Jan. 22 with Lion and Dragon dances in Gateway Mall (10 a.m.), Novotel Manila Araneta City (12:30 p.m.), Shopwise Arcade (3 p.m.), Farmers Market (4:30 p.m.). Imperial Court’s Lunar New Year menus are available from Jan. 21 to Feb. 5.
On Lunar New Year’s Day, guests can enjoy a dimsum buffet of siomai, tikoy, dumplings, buchi, and other delicacies at the hotel for only P600. In addition, guests can also dine at Cafe Rizal for its buffet of Chinese congee and side dishes.
