Bank liaison officer yields shabu in Batangas buy-bust


CITY OF SANTO TOMAS, Batangas – A 42-year-old bank liaison officer was arrested after he yielded suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation before dawn on Saturday, Nov. 26, in Barangay San Rafael here.

The Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) identified the suspect as Edgar Gamo, single, a resident of Barangay San Rafael.

Gamo was arrested by the City Drug Enforcement Team at 4:30 a.m. after he sold a sachet of shabu to a police poseur-buyer for P500.

Recovered from the suspect were the illegal drug and the marked money.

City police said Gamo is a suspected drug personality and is on their watch list. Gamo faces drug-related charges.
