Cesar Montano will be joining Isko Moreno in controversial film director Darryl Yap's new effort.

On Facebook, Darryl revealed that Cesar would be playing the role of Ferdinand Marcos alongside Isko's Benigno Aquino for the second installment of "Maid In Malacañang" titled “Martyr Or Murderer.”

Also part of the cast is Jerome Ponce who will portray the young Ninoy with Marco Gumabao as the young Ferdinand.

Clamor for a sequel arose following the success of "Maid In Malacañang."

Note that prior, Darryl revealed that “Maid in Malacañang” is supposed to be a trilogy.

He shared: “Nung kino-conceive ang ‘Maid in Malacañang,’ it’s actually a ‘MiM,’ ‘MoM,’ and ‘MaM.’ It’s a trilogy. ‘MiM’ is ‘Maid in Malacañang.’ ‘MoM’ is a ‘Martyr Or Murderer.’ That ‘Martyr Or Murderer,’ sino ang pumatay sa unang dilawan. And yung ‘MaM,’ ‘Mabuhay aloha Mabuhay.’ It will tackle naman the life of Marcoses away from the Philippines; in Hawaii and when they get back again in the Philippines.”

Darryl expounded on the plot of the second movie in an interview with Coach Jarret.

“It’s the greatest bintang to the Marcoses that they had then Senator Ninoy (Aquino) killed,” he said. “It’s one of the heaviest accusations that they ever received – that they have killed Ninoy Aquino that time.”

“And I want to present why the people should believe them that it’s not them. I will start by asking about the film, if your father died, if your husband died, there should be a fire within you to solve it, as a good son and a good wife,” he added. “So why is it until now, that the mother or the wife, is now gone, the son is also gone, the justice for the father is not yet given? That’s one of the pillars of the second installment if we will do it. If the actor that I will post on Facebook will say yes to be Ninoy.”
