Taylor Swift shatters Billboard records set by The Beatles, Madonna and Drake

Taylor Swift posts another milestone as she becomes the first artist to spend a full year at Number 1 on Billboard’s Artist 100 charts.

According to Billboard, Swift posted “a record-extending 52nd week atop the chart (non-consecutively)," all due to the second-week success of her latest album "Midnights.”

Swift is now ranked as the artist with the most weeks atop said chart.

She has surpassed Drake and The Beatles for the most titles in the Hot 100 in a single week. Drake posted 5 singles at the same time in the Top 5 in 2021 and The Beatles did the same back in 1964.

Also, Swift now has the most Top 10 singles among women music acts in Hot 100 history with 40, edging out Madonna’s 38.

“Midnights” is currently on its second week at number 1 at the Billboard album charts.

All 20 songs from “Midnights” (13 from the original, plus 7 tracks from the “3 AM Edition”) are spread out across the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the second straight week.

Last week, Swift made history becoming the only artist to fill the top 10 of the singles charts with all her songs.

Her carrier single “Anti-Hero” is currently on its second week atop the aforementioned listing.

Her album tracks “Lavender Haze,” “Midnight Rain,” and “Bejeweled” are currently on the 6th, 7th and 9th spots respectively.
