It was Tuesday, Aug. 23, and Marcos found himself on the presiding officer's chair during a, meeting of the rules panel.

A Facebook post from Marcos revealed that the Committee on Rules chairman, Majority Leader Mannix Dalipe of Zamboanga City's 2nd district had a pressing matter to attend to, that's why he had to step up and preside over the meeting.

Marcos is the senior deputy majority leader, meaning he is Dalipe's second-in-command.

But Tolentino, who was in the same meeting, went a step further and said that her pal Marcos spent one day as the "majo", or majority leader pf the House of Representatives.

She posted her musings via an Instagram story and even tagged the presidential son. "Majo for a day," her caption read.

The majority leader, who is chosen by the House Speaker, automatically becomes the chairman of the rules committee.

Marcos would later repost Tolentino's story.

The two solons are both rookie members of the 311-strong House.
