Eric Ejercito launches 'Fool' music video in style

Eric Ejercito recently launched a new music video via a well-attended cinema premiere.

The multi-hyphenate singer-dancer-film producer dropped the music video for new single “Fool” last Sunday, August 14, with a red-carpet event at the Trinoma Cinemas at the Ayala Mall in Quezon City.

Family, friends and fellow music artists were on hand to support Eric Ejercito, including his father, actor and politician E.R. Ejercito.

Also present were Eric Ejercito’s fellow Viva Records artists: All-girl groups LITZ and Ppop Gen, singer and VJ Ataska, singer-songwriters Amiel Sol, Kyla Miel Cameron, rising music acts Valfer and Joaquin Canlas, Martin Veñegas, "Born to be a Star" singing champ Jehramae, Ppop group BOIZ Will Be BOIZ and pop rock boy band New Style.

At the event, Eric performed a live dance performance of “Fool.”

The “Fool” music video is a collaboration between L.A. based director/cinematographer Jeff Centauri and Eric.

Besides being the featured music artist, Ejercito is also credited as director-producer.

Featured on the film is Manila-based Korean Nayoung Kim who plays Eric Ejercito’s "love interest" in the music video.

An effects-laden performance music video, Eric Ejercito’s dance crew on the video includes John Matthew Quiambao, Keith De Guzman, Cyrus Paul Labarda and Michael Earvin Agas.

Right after the music video was shown, Eric Ejercito teased a new single titled “Bad Idea” that will feature Denise Laurel.

“Fool” eventually made its debut on YouTube, 8pm the same day.  Said music video is produced by Episode One (EO1) Films and Viva Records.

“Fool,” written by Eric Ejercito, is arranged, mixed and mastered by Brian Lotho, and can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and digital streaming services.
