High chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening across most of PH

(MANILA BULLETIN)

Warm weather due to the easterlies will prevail over the eastern section of the country but there remains a high chance of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Sunday, July 24.

The easterlies, or warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, were affecting the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.

PAGASA said the entire archipelago will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned against flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.

Moreover, PAGASA said the entire archipelago will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
