(MANILA BULLETIN)

Warm weather may persist in most parts of the country this weekend, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Friday, July 22.

“At 12 noon today, July 22, Mindanao including the province of Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms while the rest of the country will have warm and humid weather conditions with chances of afternoon or evening rain showers and thunderstorms,” PAGASA said in its weekly weather outlook.

By Saturday, July 23, Visayas and Mindanao, including the province of Palawan, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while Luzon will have warm and humid weather with chances of afternoon rain showers and thunderstorms.

By Sunday until Monday, July 24 to 25, PAGASA said Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms as a low pressure area may approach Bicol Region or Eastern Visayas.

The rest of Luzon will have warm and humid weather apart from afternoon or evening rain showers and thunderstorms.

By Tuesday until Thursday, July 26 to 28, PAGASA said Central and Southern Luzon including Metro Manila, Visayas and Mindanao, will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while the rest of Luzon will have warm and humid weather apart from afternoon or evening rain showers and thunderstorms.

By Friday, July 29, Luzon and Visayas will be cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while Mindanao will have warm and humid weather apart from afternoon or evening rain showers and thunderstorms.

PAGASA said that there is a slim chance of tropical cyclone development in the coming week.

However, it will issue updates through weather advisories if there will be significant changes in the weather scenario.
