Las Pinas Vice Mayor April Aguilar was elected secretary general of Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP) for National Capital Region (NCR) on Wednesday, July 13.
The election of a new set of NCR VLMP officers was held at the Makati Diamond Residences in Legazpi Village, Makati City.
Aguilar will serve as secretary general for the year 2022 up to 2025.
The other NCR vice mayors who were elected are Makati City’s Monique Lagdameo as president, Carmencita Abalos of Mandaluyong City as vice-president, Lorena Borja of Valenzuela City as treasurer, Bernard dela Cruz of Malabon City as auditor, and Warren Villa of San Juan City as PRO.
Aguilar thanked all the NCR vice-mayors for the trust given to her as she vowed to work hard to serve the league better.
