San Sebastian clawed its way back from the dead as it snatched a 24-26, 26-28, 25-20, 25-20, 17-15 victory Sunday in NCAA women’s volleyball at Paco Arena.

Reyann Canete exploded with a career-high 25 points built on 19 kills and five aces while Katherine Santos contributed 18 points off 15 attacks for the Lady Stags, which rallied from two sets down and fought two match points to claim the victory.
San Sebastian hiked its win-loss tally to 4-1, tying with Arellano at second.
Down 15-14, the Lady Stags walloped back-to-back kills courtesy of Christina Marasigan and Santos before an attack error from the Lady Altas sealed the win.
Three other players also scored in double figures for San Sebastian with Kristine Dionisio, Kamille Tan and Bianca Ordona finishing with 10 points apiece.
It was a heartbreaking loss for Perpetual Help, which failed to gain the third-set momentum after failing to close the gap with its 11-9 deficit that ballooned to 17-11.
It was the same scenario in the fourth frame where the Lady Stags dictated the pace.
Mary Rhose Dapol scored 18 points, Razel Aldea added 14 and Charmaine Ocado finished with 11 points for Perpetual, which slipped to a 2-3 record in the middle standings.
