Filipino teacher in Hawaii arrested for child pornography

A Filipino teacher in Oahu, Hawaii was arrested for child pornography.

In a report from Hawaii News Now, Honolulu Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents arrested Alden Bunag on June 18 at the Oahu’s Pearl City High School (PCHS) where he taught summer school.

Bunag distributed child pornography through Telegram, it added.

Court documents showed that Bunag exchanged almost 3,400 messages, including hundreds of pornographic images and videos of children, with a Philadelphia private school teacher, who was also arrested in October last year.

Bunag sent a video of himself having sex with a 13-year-old boy during lunch break at the school.

He is set to appear at a preliminary hearing on Monday, June 27.
