Isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to prevail over PH in the next 24 hours

The entire country may continue to experience fair weather with chances of rain showers or thunderstorms in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Tuesday, June 21.

The public is warned against flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusty winds, and sometimes hail.

This weather scenario may persist in the next few days.

In its extended weather outlook for key areas from June 22 to 25, PAGASA said that maximum air temperatures may reach 32-33 degrees Celsius (℃) in Metro Manila, 33-34℃ in Tuguegarao City, 24-25℃ in Baguio City, 30-31℃ in Tagaytay City, 32-33℃ in Puerto Princesa City, 32℃ in Metro Cebu, 32-33℃ in Metro Davao, and 32℃ in Zamboanga City.

Moreover, PAGASA said the entire archipelago may experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
