Bianca Pagdanganan shot an even-par 72 while Dottie Ardina and Yuka Saso missed the cut after two rounds in the Meijer LPGA Classic For Simply Give in Belmont, Michigan Friday (Saturday in Manila).
Pagdanganan had a rollercoaster round of four birdies – all from the back nine – against the same number of bogeys to make the cut with a two-day total of 139 at joint 24th place.
She had an opening round 67.
The Tokyo Olympian trailed Jennifer Kupcho by nine strokes after the American tightened her hold of the top spot with a bogey-free five-under 67 for 130.
Ardina, meanwhile, fired a 69 but missed the cut by one stroke after a two-day aggregate of 149. She had an opening-round 74.
The 28-year-old had five birdies, but her bogeys on Nos. 2 and 15 proved critical in failing to advance to the next round.
Saso, for her part, missed the cut by two shots after a second straight 72 for joint 91st.
She bogeys the sixth and 11th, but managed with two birdies on the 12th and 14th.
Meanwhile, Pagdanganan tees off at 10:50 a.m. with Su Oh.
