DFA said around 288 Filipinos there received emergency food packs in a three-day distribution that ended on May 24.

The package was composed not only of necessities, such as rice, eggs, and fruits, but also of Filipino favorites, including local canned goods, noodles, and condiments.

DFA said the effort was part of its collaboration with other agencies to ensure smooth and adequate assistance.

Overseas Workers Welfare Agency is also conducting parallel assistance, DFA added.
