"Maraming nagtatanong ngayon na kahit hindi pa ako napo-proklama...(Even if I haven't been proclaimed as the winner yet) many people have been asking, what happens next and what are we doing now," he said in his live press statement at his campaign headquarters in Mandaluyong City.

"Well right now, siyempre ang intensyon ko (of course my intention) is to hit the ground running kung sakali man matuloy yung proklamasyon (if ever the proclamation pushes through)and later this month eh kailangan nakahanda na tayo (we should be prepared already)," Marcos said.

He went on to give a snippet of his plans for the bureaucracy under his prospective leadership.

"So pinag-uusapan na namin mga (So we're already discussing the) appointment as I'm sure you can imagine the economic managers are going to be critical for the next several years because of the pandemic and the economic crisis," the Ilocano candidate said.

"So that is something that we are looking at very carefully. But it's not only the economic managers, lahat talaga ng positions. Not only Cabinet positions but even other agencies ay tinitignan naming lahat (are also being looked at)," he bared.

Marcos said he wants the executive committee of his campaign to keep going. "Sila talaga adviser ko (They're really my advisers)," he noted.

As for filling up positions in the different departments, he said he "intends to talk to the specialists in that discipline or in that sector".

Citing an example, he said his government would reach out to the best agriculturists when it comes to the Department of Agriculture (DA).

He then bared that leading vice presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, his running mate, has agreed to take the helm at the Department of Education (DepEd) once they are proclaimed poll winners.

"In the next few days I'll be talking to you. Baka (Maybe) everyday there will be something new to announce eh, mas marami na talaga kaming ginagawa (because we're doing a lot more now)," Marcos told the reporters present.

However, he didn't take any questions from them as he claimed that he had little more to reveal.
