A total of 897 individuals out of 1,925 examinees passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure exam, said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, April 28.
The examination was given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga in April 2022.
University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman emerged as the top-performing school for the said exam with a passing percentage of 85.71 percent.
Eugene Loreno Filomeno of Southern Luzon State University Lucban garnered the highest place in the exam with a rating of 92.10 percent.
Meanwhile, in the same press release, PRC disclosed that 1,139 out of 1,337 examinees passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination which was also given during the same period.
Gabriel Jeiyo Mangalino Gob of UP Diliman topped the exam with a rating of 94 percent.
