'Let me take care of them,' says Manny of unwanted children

Presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao will never support abortion and would rather personally take care of unwanted children instead.

"Hindi dapat ipalaglag. Ako against ako dyan. Ipanganak mo...kung hindi mo alagaan, ipaalaga mo sa iba, ipaalaga mo sakin, ako mag-alaga, dahil buhay 'yan eh (They should not be aborted. Give birth to them. If you can't take care of them, ask others to do so. Or let me take care of them, because that's life)," Pacquiao said Friday night, March 25 during the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) election forum.

Pacquiao said the lives of the unwanted children must not be taken. They should be raised to become God's follower, he said.

"Pwede mong palakihin ng tama.. Pero 'pag pinatay mo 'yan...eh nagkakasala ka sa panginoon, eh di naman tayo nagbigay ng buhay na 'yan (You can raise them well.. But if you kill them, you are committing sin against God because it's not us who gave them life)," he added.

The aspiring president said the first thing we should ensure is to not commit sin as God may "punish us" for that.

He said "We should also realize that it will not happen were it not for the horrible sins we have committed against God."

As such, Pacquiao advised the people to think of what they are doing, especially committing "sexual immorality" that automatically makes people sinful not only against God but also against their parents.
