The Marikina City Veterinary Office (CVO) will conduct on-site registration and anti-rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats in the city’s barangays starting on March 15 to 24.
The activity, which is in line with Rabies Awareness Month, encourages individuals and communities to be responsible pet owners by properly registering their pets and protecting them against rabies.
According to the Marikina City Public Information Office (PIO), the registration fees have been waived in order to alleviate financial burdens of residents affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

On Wednesday, March 16, the activities will commence at Barangays Barangka, Tañong, Jesus Dela Peña, and Industrial Valley Complex (ICV). A site in Provident Village will also open on this day.
