ECHO head coach Michael Angelo “Arcadia” Bocado bared that he has no issues in keeping his players on the same page despite having a star-studded lineup.

The champion coach even shared that the powerhouse cast needed little intervention from him as the chemistry between his players naturally developed since they get along well outside the game.
The team’s formation in the off-season were shrouded with doubts especially after acquiring stars like Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Karl “Karltzy” Nepomuceno and Frediemar “3martzy” Serafico – all known to have strong personalities, joining the likes of Jankurt “Kurttzy” Matira and Benedict “BennyQT” Gonzales in the main five.
“Ito naman transparently speaking yung chemistry sa kanila naturally nadevelop kasi yung mga personalities nila sync with each other like kahit outside of the game nagkakasundo,” said of his squad which have been taking the league by storm with a 5-0 start.
While he had no problems in forming the team’s cohesion, he acknowledged that the squad may need to deal with ego problems at some point that’s why he made sure to tackle everything right on their first meeting as a crew.
“When it comes to the ego part, I think lahat naman ng mga super team nag-face ng ganung problem kasi ako nung nagstart sila sinabi ko na agad yung mga possible na pwede nating mga problem so di ko na hinayaan na umabot pa sa point na iyon,” Arcadia shared.
“Sinabi ko na na ito pwede nating mga problema, ikaw ganito marami ka nang naachieve possible kayo magclash ni ganoto kasi ganyan yung opinion mo so as much as possible literally first day tinackle na namin yung mga iiwasan namin going into the season,” he furthered.
Coach Arcadia believed that forming such a powerhouse squad would take a lot of compromise from its members for it to work and his main five is currently doing a fine job to keep everything in check.
“Siguro yun kumbaga nagmaterialize yung ganoong klaseng approach kaya lahat sila very critical na nagcocompromise sila sa isa’t isa.”
