The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has temporarily closed its central office in Quezon City to give way for the mass swab testing of all its personnel amid a renewed surge in COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.
"Dahil sa tumataas na kaso ng COVID-19, ang mga empleyado ng ahensya ay sasailalim sa mass swab testing. Sasailalim din sa masusing disfection ang mga pasilidad ng LTFRB Central Office (Due to the rising COVID-19 cases, LTFRB employees will undergo mass swab testing, while facilities of the Central Office will be thoroughly disinfected)," the LTFRB said in an advisory on Thursday, Jan. 6.
According to the LTFRB, it will not accept any physical transactions at its central office in Quezon City from Jan. 6 to Jan. 7.
The agency's 24/7 hotline 1342 will also be inactive until Sunday, Jan. 9, it added.
With this, the LTFRB advised the public to send a message to its official Facebook page or via email to its Public Assistance Complaints Desk (PACD) at [email protected].
