Almost all DOJ personnel vaccinated vs COVID

A total of 97.6 percent of the 6,254 officials and employees of the Department of Justice (DOJ) nationwide has been vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

DOJ records showed that as of Thursday, Jan. 6, a total of 6,064 personnel had been fully vaccinated. Forty-two others had gotten their first dose.

Of those vaccinated, 770 are from the DOJ main office in Manila; 1,030 in the National Capital Region; 418 in Region I; 289 in Region II; 462 in Region III; 712 in Region IV; 400 in Region V; 326 in Region VI; 486 in Region VII; 234 in Region VIII; 173 in Region IX; 221 in Region X; 201 in Region XI; 149 in Region XII; 152 in Region XIII; and 83 in Region XIV.

The same records showed that there are 35 active COVID-19 cases among its personnel.

Twenty-one of those infected are from the DOJ main office, one in Region I, six in Region III, and seven in Region IV.

In 2020, the DOJ had 630 COVID-19 cases.
