Bongbong brings construction materials to 'Odette' victims

Presidential aspirant Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. said Wednesday, Jan. 5, his team is already distributing construction materials for the repair of damaged homes of Typhoon "Odette" victims.

In a television news interview, Marcos Jr. said he and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, are already addressing the needs of "Odette" victims for reconstruction.

After the typhoon, they already need a shelter. They might have evacuation centers, but even they are damaged. So our evacuees sleep just anywhere)," Marcos Jr. said, explaining the need to rebuild the damaged houses.

So that's what we're bringing to them. We're bringing tarpaulins simply for cover because their roofs are already damaged)," he added.

Marcos Jr. also called on his supporters to also donate construction materials, aside from relief goods.
