After its “My Neighbor Totoro”-inspired collection and its generous support to the Ghibli Museum, luxury label Loewe continues its magic-filled collaboration with Studio Ghilbi with its upcoming collection in homage to its cult classic film “Spirited Away.”
Released in 2001, “Spirited Away” follows the story and adventures of 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino and her parents as they stumbled upon an abandoned amusement park, little did they know that the park is a resort dedicated to supernatural beings. Based on the fashion brand’s teasers, it looks like the upcoming line will embody the whimsy of the Oscar-winning Hayao Miyazaki film. Iconic characters such as No-Face, Yubaba, and, of course, Chihiro are expected to make an appearance in a “range of winter garments in the collection such as sweatshirts, cardigans, and outerwear, as well as playful accessories and trinkets.”
