Mike Hanopol now battling COVID-19

The Pinoy Rock legend is currently confined in a hospital in Rizal.

He was rushed there on June 10.

Fans are urging people to donate money to help alleviate his expenses.

Good friend Edgar H. Siscar posted a video of Mike recently on Faceboook.

Obviously sick, Mike is seen making an effort to wave at the camera.

Edgar wrote in the caption, "Rav MIKE HANOPOL expresses his thanks to everyone for all the prayers and the well-wishes. Let us further pray for his full recovery from COVID-19 for the spread of God’s word, the conversion of souls, the forgiveness of sins, and for the glory of God’s holy name. Praise God for all His goodness. Alleluia. Amen."

Mike, 75, wrote Pinoy Rock anthems "Laki Sa Layaw Jeproks," "Katawan," No Touch," among many others.
