FASHION PULIS: Learning lessons

The offer seemed promising. Freelance Talent (FT) only asked for time to think about the deal Enterprising Personality (EP) presented to him. FT has been consolidating his offers and EP saw the possible opportunities for FT if she were given the go-signal to transact on his behalf.

Later on, EP targeted Versatile Celebrity (VC). VC needed a handler and EP felt she ought to have that role. VC said she will consult Her Adviser (HA) first before giving a final answer.

Unknown to EP, FT consulted Showbiz Elder (SE) about EP’s offer. FT knew that SE is a person who was familiar with showbiz dealings and EP as well. FT was shocked at the bluntness of SE’s response. According to SE, EP could have only a limited range of opportunities for FT. SE said EP’s prior actions affected her relationship with various media productions. If ever, FT might be relegated to endorsements, which EP could very well negotiate. Hence, when EP asked FT about the offer, he replied that he still had other commitments, which he would like to finish first before deciding.

Similarly, HA was wary of EP for VC. HA’s advice was similar to SE’s thinking. Without an affirmative answer from HA, EP can forget taking VC under her wing.

Allegedly, Inquisitive Partner (IP) minds articles written about Stoic Foe (SF). Whenever SF speaks, her stories are picked up by various channels and she often gets positive media mileage.

Despite the various topics SF talks about, certain segments gave IP the impression that SF has difficulty in leaving her past behind. IP has told her friends that SF is unable to accept the reality that relationships end and ex-lovers move on to new partners.

Furthermore, IP believes SF is bitter over the revelation that IP’s Current Man (CM) did not love her. CM told IP that SF was clingy. Unfortunately, whenever SF has a story, the repercussions on CM are uncontrollable. Reactions hit CM left and right. That effect upsets IP. To counteract negative insights on CM, IP opted to strategize.

Whenever possible, IP posts photos showing her and CM as a happy couple. The photos do send a message that they are invincible together and nothing can affect their relationship. Incidentally, IP has achieved a different level of happiness with CM. Her friends wonder what walls would say if they could talk.
