Japan in a bun

Mendokoro Ramenba and Kumori launch a signature collaboration product, exemplifying their Japanese roots, the Melon Chashu Bun. A fusion of Japanese taste, the bun features Kumori’s soft bread topped with a cookie crust and black sesame seeds with the savory taste of Mendokoro’s crowd-favorite, double-marinated chashu, drizzled with their proprietary yakitori sauce. With a kick of spice from a homemade mustard sauce, coupled with the fresh lettuce and pickled onions, this collaboration of two crowd favorites results in a complex dish that is both filling and mouthwatering. Melon Chashu Bun (P199 solo and P575 for a box of three) is available for a limited time only at Mendokoro Ramenba branches in Makati, BGC, and Alabang, as well as their food truck in key cities in and out of the Metro, and online at www.nipponhasha.com. Kumori will also offer it in SM Fairview, SM North Edsa, UP Town Center, Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Manila, Landmark Makati, SM Makati, SM Mall of Asia, Ayala Malls Manila Bay, Festival Mall Alabang, SM Bacoor, and SM Sta. Rosa.
